Mikha Diaz

Mikha’s appreciation of well-articulated cuisine and her desire to share that craft was evident at a young age, when Mikha would spend hours recreating historically accurate meals for her family, or taking notes on cooking programs on PBS. While traveling through Europe with her sister, Mikha further developed the desire to create spaces where her memories of travels abroad and her love of heartfelt hospitality could flourish in a professional setting.

In order to express her ever expanding interest in food and beverage service and hospitality, Mikha has developed a family of brands: Two Sisters Bar and Books (SF, 2011), Monday Night Mixology (SF and Berkeley, 2012), Les Arceaux (Berkeley, 2017), Gardenias and Brown Sugar (Blog, 2017), and an as yet unnamed bar, coming to the East Bay in 2018. In the coming years, Mikha looks forward to discovering new and exciting ways to share her passion beyond the Bay Area.

When not at work, Mikha can be found picking apples with her daughter, remembering how to ride her bicycle, and attempting to unravel the complexities of the French AOC system. Mikha lives in Berkeley with her husband, Edwin, their daughter, Ana Sophia, and the family pooch, Charlie.
