Our Story

Montpellier’s renown Les Arceaux is a gathering place. Each week the community gravitates to the farmer’s market under the ancient arches to browse the stalls of vibrantly-colored produce and fresh cheeses. It was under these arches where Les Arceaux’s chef, Alana O’Neal, nurtured her love of French cuisine and curated recipes from home cooks and local vendors who stressed the importance of crafting a meal using ideal ingredients.

Our Provencal-inspired café and wine bar invites patrons to enjoy a bit of the South of France in Berkeley. Open at 7:30am daily, the café is a warm and welcoming spot to enjoy a playful tartine and a cup of coffee. At 5pm the space transforms into a cozy wine bar and restaurant featuring a carefully curated wine list and plates to share. We offer catering and delivery service to make sure that the community is well fed outside of the restaurant.
